How would Go about sharpening this knife? http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-One-Hand-Trekker-Lockblade-Pocket/dp/B000687B44/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1247653236&sr=8-2 it is sharpened on one side and the other side is flat. >.> so i cant use a pocket pal or anything.... i tried using a tapered diamond rod. iono if i can use a wet stone cuss im trying to sharpen the non serrated part. u get to see it up closer with this review
The problem is that the serrated edge has the contours on both sides, even though it is flat. When you sharpen a blade, the edge you put on it has to have an angle. You can try a stone, but without having the blade in my hands, I can't tell you exactly what to use. Most serrated edge blades are tough to sharpen, and take special tools and lots of time.
